Hi Team,

could you please help with customer questions as below,

How Is the LDO powered? by VIN or VBAT? How the PMID work when VBUS and VBAT both exist?

Hello Patty,

LDO is powered through the VINLS pin. The VINLS pin is typically connected to the PMID pin.

PMID is typically regulated to 4.5V when VBUS is present or VBAT voltage when VBUS is absent.

LDO is enabled either by VIN or VBAT ( Battery), automatically managed internally?

customer would like to also evaluate switching charger.

Can you also please recommend the switching charger for this case?

LDO is enabled by default and can be configured through I2C regardless of if VIN is present or not.

What are the requirements for the switching charger? They can take a look at BQ25618 or BQ25606
