TPS544B25: PMBus Issues

Part Number: TPS544B25

Hi,

I have the TPS544B25 on a board of mine and am trying to reconfigure the eeprom so that I set a correct output voltage, scale, ovp, etc...

Right now I am using an aardvark to communicate to the IC, but I am not getting an ack. I have tried using the set address we have (41 in dec), 127, and global (0), but none result in an ack.

Is there any special command that needs to occur before to access register space? Does the TI Fusion SW do anything in the background that is not covered in the DS?

For the setup, I have supply going to VIN and VDD. CNTL was pulled-up but that resulted in OVP to go off so this is now pulled-low. I did not observe any difference in the PMBus behavior.

I can see the SCL/SDA toggling at the pin of the TPS544B25 so I know the IC is getting commands. Also, BP3 and BP6 are stable and at the correct voltage.

Please let me know if you need any more details.

Thank you,

Ross
