Related to previous question, I have an ATmega328PB connected to Vbat, and a single 18650 cell with BQ29707 for cell protection, if I run my cell all the way down to 2.8V I have trouble getting the charging to start, if the cell is only discharged to around 3.6V the charging seems to work as expected, Ning T mentioned this could be the case - any suggestions on what causes this and how to overcome this to get the charging to start reliably?
