Genius 4840 points
Part Number: TPS2420
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS2595

Please let us know how much time is from "detecting Vout<Vin-0.5V" to "PG high(off)"

Regards.

  • Hi Kura,

The delay should be in the order of few micro seconds.

Are you using this device for a new project ? You can consider using TPS2595. This is our latest efuse which is compact in size, rich in features and most cost competitive.

    Thank you for your reply.

It's not new project.Customer has been using this part.

    But they have aproblem.

Noise(few micro seconds) of Vin cause PG OFF.They are using PG for EN of other DCDC.

To prevent this problem,is that they reinforce vin filter only solution ?

If you have other solution, please let us know it.

  • Hi Kura,

Depending on the frequency of noise, you can add appropriate decoupling capacitors at Vin which have low impedance at the noise frequency
