Hi Sir,

   What's the main difference between buck converter and flybuck converter？ Can I use buck converter like LMR36503 to design a flybuck circuit?

    Hi,

    You can use buck converter with force PWM mode to achieve a flybuck under a certain load. However some protections (like short current, over voltage...) might not be achieved by buck converter so please use a dedicated flybuck converter to design flybuck circuits.
