TLV62585: soft start & discharge slew rate

I will get back to you soon on the min/max values of the soft start time (tss).

With regards to power down slew rate, we cannot share the min/max data because there's a lot of factors to contribute to it such as: VIN, VOUT, IOUT and Tj. It would be best for the customer to validate it on their application and place a +/- 20% to 50% tolerance to capture variations.

We cannot provide the min/max values of the soft start time parameter due to limited data. If tss parameter is critical to customer application, they might want to consider TPS62826. I can check the min/max values if needed.

Unfortunately, even with VIN/Vout/Iout data, it is still not enough to determine the power down slew rate and soft start time because the effect of Tj and process variation were not characterized for these particular parameters.

Tj= pd * RθJA +TA  ?.

Basically, it requires internal validation to determine the min/max values of the soft-start time which is not available for this particular device and this is also applicable to power down slew rate. If this soft-start time parameter is critical to customer, it would be best to recommend TPS62826.
