Dear Sir,

My customer is considering BQ28Z610-R1 for developing BATTERY PACK.

1. for manufacturing, it is possible to use ROM Writer?(not using EV2400 and EVM GUI) if yes, could you recommend ROM Writer name to me.

2. If BQ28Z610-R1 EVM circuit is same design, it is possible to have UL certification without additional circuit?

    1. Yes.   You can generate a bq.fs or df.fs file after your golden image is finalized and then use the C code in the app below to program the bq.fs or dt.fs into a bq28z610-R1 device.
    1. I'm not an expert on the UL certification. As far as I can tell, the EVM is not designed for UL certification particularly. It is probably a good starting point, but customers would need to put their own efforts to design their board for UL certification.
