1. What purpose of PMID optional MOS circuit?

    Hi, Ian:

    1. The purpose of optional PFET is to have reverse blocking and short circuit protection. When the charger is in idle mode, PFET turns off so PMID voltage will not appear on VPB. When VPB has short, PMID voltage is pulled low that triggers PMID_GOOD to turn off PFET.
