UCD3138PSFBEVM-027: UCD3138-PSFB-EVM27 source code difference

Hello.

I just bought a UCD3138-PSFB-EVM27. I tested it and found that its waveform is consistent with the user manual. For example, the output voltage has no overshoot during startup and the no-load loss is about 32W.

Later, I downloaded the source code from the official website and re-burned it into the development board. I found that the output voltage will overshoot when it starts, and the no-load loss is about 17W.

I think there is a difference between the source code published on the official website and the source code actually burned by the development board.

I guess the source code on the official website is the version with synchronous rectification turned off under light load 5A,

and the version burned into the development board is the version with synchronous rectification enabled at light load,

so the loss is large.

I am not clear about the other differences.

Did you check if SR is turned on at the new version of code?

You may increase load current to above 5A and compare the losses.
