Required Clarifications:

Also please clarify how we can reduce RTHJA by increasing copper area,

    Hi Rajendra, 

    The TO-252 package has an RTHJA rating of 54 °C/W on a JEDEC standard High-K board. This is not an optimal layout and a good copper pour around the device can certainly improve this number further. Please see this application note that shows the impact of a good layout and thermal performance.
