Please help confirm whether TPS61169 is suitable for use under the following conditions,

vin3.3v to LED+ / LED- input voltage 3.3V/120mA (PWM dimm)....

vin3.3v to LED+ / LED- input voltage 12V/80mA(PWM Dimm)

TPS61169 is a booster, so output should be larger than input.

What's the required PWM dimming frequency? BTW, the output voltage could be lower than 3.3V?

Hi Gareth,

Pls. refer to LM36010 which supports pass mode and boost mode.

For low output, utilize pass mode and strobe can achieve equal PWM dimming but the dimming frequency is limited.

Hi Gareth,

LM36010 cannot support 12V output.

After test with TPS61169 EVM, it has been verified that TPS61169 could also support 3.3V output with 3.3V input. Pls. refer to the below pictures.
