UCD3138: At what temperature will UCD3138 lose its programmed data?

Hi Experts,

- Our company is going to program the UCD3138 before SMD. After mounting on the main board, there is a DIP process.

- Will UCD3138 lose its programmed data because of heat? (About 280 Celsius degree, 6 seconds)

the Operating Temperature for UCD3138 is: –40°C to 125°C

the absolute maximum junction temperature is : –40°C to 150°C

Hi Bosheng,

- Did you mean that over 150°C will cause UCD3138 broken?

- Is there anything related to temperature that will cause data lose? (PFlash and DFlash)

Jack, Over 150C may cause may cause permanent damage to the device and data lose.
