I just want to know the calculation part for the transformer core loss estimation. I am not able to find how 7W is the result of the Pt1 equation..

Hello Peeyush,

Thank you for pointing the discrepancy in the datasheet. the Equation50 in the datasheet should be DCRs=0.58 mOhms instead.

With the correct unit, you should be able to numerically calculate PT1= 2*((3.1^2*0.215)+(2*36^2*0.58*10^-3))= 7.1W

I will work with the team to get this corrected.

In your calculation PT1= 2*((3.1^2*0.215)+(2*36^2*0.58*10^-3))= 7.1W why the first resistance is still in ohm you havn't converted into mOhm..DCRp=.215 .

Hi Peeyush,

Yes, that is not required. The only mistake is the unit of the DCRs.
