Hello everyone,
I'm trying to develop a reverse polarity protection circuit for BQ25606 and I want to know if this circuit makes sense:
The idea is to short-circuit the battery through the Schottky diode and blow the fuse without exceeding the minimum voltage on the VBAT pin (-0.3V) in case of incorrect battery placement.
The Schottky diode JSM115J has Vf = 300mV@~2.7A, so it is assumed that the BAT pin will have the same voltage, but negative, right?
At ~ 2.7A, the ERB-RE1R00V fuse has a fusing time of ~ 20ms
