I am working on my first BQ25895 based design and there are some errors and bodges on this board. I have wired CE to GND to enable battery charge however charge does not seem to be starting. The ADC can detect the voltage of the battery so the connection seems good. The schematic is here, with TP6 connected to ground.
The schematic did not seem to have made it in the previous post from my clipboard. So here is another shot at it.
As will as initialization code which can be found here : https://github.com/whatnick/Onion_Feather/blob/master/software/bq25895.py . It is in Python and should be easy to read. Basically writes a couple of registers and attempts to start charging.
