Datasheet says “Safety and regulatory approval: – IEC 62368-1 End equipment standard”, what does it mean? Does the customer still need to do IEC62368-1 test?

Hi Nicholas,

BQ24040 is compliant with G.9 Integrated circuit current limiters of IEC 62368-1 standard. Customer will still need to perform the IEC 62368-1 test specific to their own end equipment.
