Our customer wants to use the BQ34Z100-G1 as battery fuel gauges for lead acid batteries that is used for UPSs. They want to measure the state of the battery by not permanently installing as a monitoring system but they will be connecting to the battery during preventive maintenance only. They want to know also to know if they can check the SoH and SoC on the fly testing and not keep it installed on the battery always.
I would appreciate if you could confirm if this is doable and if not, can you recommend a device that could be use on this application?
