Can I ask another question that sticks to my mind? I think the answer to this will also affect my design.

I will design it to be 24V input. This is around 25-26V in some vehicles.

- If it peaks to values like 36 or 48V, how will the circuit behave. TVS will absorb these high voltages and 24V will go into the circuit or what? Can you help me understand this?

I do not understand why TVS is damaged. because you wrote in your previous answer that it might be reasonable.

for TVS:

Vr: 40V

Vb: 44.4V-49.10V

Vc: 64.5V

Can you explain this in more detail?
