Hi, I am using the EVM board with firmware 4452. I have a pack of 8s6p (8 series and 6 parallel) A123 26650 cells. I do find the chemistry file and I changed the default .tmap file to have 6 parallel cells. The board is logging and polling voltages, current, and temperatures fine for each cell and for the pack right now. However, I would like to know why the design capacity is shown as 4800mAh. The design capacity is important to determine the absolute SOC, if this is wrong then obviously the absolute SOC will be wrong as well.
I tried to write the right value (13,800mAh) using command 0x18 and using the SBData R/W utility in the bqWizard, but bqWizard does not write anything. When I read back (using same utility) the value still is 4800mAh.
Note that all I did was to configure the board using the .chem and .tmap files. I am not using the .aux file (so I uncheck the box when selecting the .chem file). I did not do this because I think I am telling the board that it is 8 series and 6 parallel in the .tmap file.
How can I make my EVM board to understand this is a 8 series, 6 parallel pack and the design capacity in SB shows the actual right one, and not the 4800mAh?.
Thanks
