BQ40Z50-R2: How to clear CF flag once set by MaxError

Hi,

one of our customers has inquired on how to clear Condition Flag CF flag once it is set by MaxError being larger than Max Error Limit. It is set after IT learning cycle (Qmax and RA update).

What is our advice?

    Hello Phil,

    The CF flag should clear when the MaxError() is less than the limit that is set. If it is not clearing even when the conditions are met can you share the .gg file and the log of the learning cycle they performed?

    By default the max error limit is 100% and after a successful learning cycle the maxError() should be 1% and the flag should be set to 0. Check to make sure the correct CF flag is being checked, there is one in battery mode also.
