Recommendation for the Li-Ion battery charging chipset

Hello,

I am designing a asset tracking device and I m using 2 of the Sony US18650VTC6 batteries which are 3000mAh capacities each and are Li-Ion batteries. Can you recommend me a appropriate chipset that can be used to charge these batteries.

    Hi Harsha,

    Are these batteries in series (2S1P) or parallel (1S2P)?  Do you have a host processor/controller to provide I2C communication to the charger or do you need standalone (resistor configurable) charger?  What is you input power source voltage and current?
