Hi
My customer design with BQ25606, when the cell voltage discharge to 2.8V, then supply 6.5V 2A, the battery charge normal.
If change the supply voltage to 5V, the battery can not charge.
Do you have any suggestion.
Thanks

Please check if STAT pin indicate any faults and debug from there. STAT pin blinks when Charge suspend (input overvoltage, TS fault, timer fault or system overvoltage). Please also check if the input source is over-loaded, either the current exceeds the input current limit or the VBUS pin voltage falls below the input voltage limit.
Please also check if the input source is over-loaded, either the current exceeds the input current limit or the VBUS pin voltage falls below the input voltage limit.
The device then reduces the charge current until the input current falls below the input current limit and the input voltage rises above the input voltage limit. Please refer to Extract maximum power from the supply when charging a battery (http://www.ti.com/lit/an/slyt569/slyt569.pdf) for the details.
