BQ25703A: remove input sense resistor

Hi,

Please refer to below schematic.

Because some reason, we want bypass BQ25703 let "V_PM855B_USB_IN" power bypass to "V_SYS",
We remove the PAR37 input current sense resistor, and add one wire from "V_PM855B_USB_IN" to "V_SYS",
May I know it may caused BQ25703 any side effect? or it possible to damage BQ25703A?

Note. Input voltage is 12V.

Hi Jeff,

Input current sense resistor differential voltage is sensed by ACP and ACN pin to regulate input current. You want to bypass straight from the input to system?

Hi,

Yes, Due to some reason we want to bypass straight from the input to system, just want rework less component meet to requirement, and don't damage BQ25703A.

It is possible to damage the part in such a fashion. Alternatively, you can run the part in Pass-Through Mode.
