BQ24610: Change the charge current in charging process

Dear colleague,

My customer wants to know whether can they change the BQ24610 charge current by switching the different RSR when the battery is being charged.

Whether there are some risks?

Hi Rock,

You don't need to change the RSR. You can just change the voltage on the ISET1 pin. The equation for charge current is based off of both RSR and VISET1. Charge current can be changed by changing the voltage on ISET1 during charge.
