TPS1HA08-Q1: TIME from detecting over current/temperature to stopping output.

Hi,

My customer has the following questions.

  • How long does it takes from detecting over current (exceeding current limit) to stopping output?
  • How long does it takes from detecting over temperature to stopping output?

Please advise us.

    Hello Hattori-san,

    The fast trip response time of the TPS1HA08-Q1 is 7 µS. This duration is the time from the overcurrent event to the time device starts to regulate or shut off the output current to the configured level. 

    Once the junction temperature of the device exceeds the thermal shutdown level the device shuts of immediately.
