LM5176-Q1: Calculation for Gm Error Amplifier

Hi expert,

Customer use LM5176-Q1 for inverter traction. When customer calculate Gm error, they think data in follow formula is not a value for voltage. The unit is not volt.

Could you help us to understand this formula. Thanks.

Hi Songzhen,

Thank you for posting. I think the confusion is cause by mistaking the unit of uS as micro-second. No, it is micro-Siemens, the reciprocal of Meg Ohm. For timing, microseconds usually use lower case as "us" (sorry I cannot easily type the Greek mu here).
