Hi Team,

For TPS2553 the SPEC show as below.

When the IC was burned by overvoltage(more than 6.5V, maybe 12V), will there be smoke and fire?

Because the IC control is nearby the battery, my customer has taken this into consideration.

Is there any relevant experiment report available, thank you.

We don't have the related report.

For some condition, it may have smoke and fire. But for 12V input, I am not sure about this.

Hi Ziv,

Did you have any more about the test report for the input overvoltage test result of this IC?

Could you provide the UL Listed – File No. E169910 and NEMKO IEC60950-1-am1 ed2.0 information of this IC.

In the TPS2553 webpage, that only HAST, high temperature, and HBM test.
