Eric,

Commonly OS/US spec are defined by customer rather than IC, and the performance depends on /Vin/Vout/Fsw/LC/Loading design.

Hi TI guys,

I found a TPS54620 in one of old designs, the input is 16V, the output is 12V/3A, the inductor is very larger, 8.2uH.

Recently the regulator is burned, we suspected it is as over current drawing. do you think the 8.2uH inductor play any roles in the burning?
