Hi,
I am currently trying to increase the speed at which the BQ40Z80 exits sleep mode and starts supplying power again. TI's suggested way is to use !pres pin to enter and exit sleep mode as well as for toggling the fets. This is exactly what I want but there is a 1 - 2 second delay.
What I would like to know is if the BQ40Z80 can be woken up and supply current faster? An example would be if |Current()| > Sleep Current condition is met would the discharge fet turn on in 0.25 second (time between current samples) + 1 second (time for !pres to detect device is present)? Is there a faster way?
