dear sir please explain me ldc 1614 when we sense the metal by lc sensor then metal near the coil that time what is inductance .and when the metal some distance from the coil then what is the inductance.

    To calculate inductance at min and max distance with a certain metal target you can use the excel based calculator found in the product folder of the LDC1614:

    Within the calculator you can input your sensor design, metal target information, travel distnaces and get an estimation of the change in inductance. Please take a look at this design resource.
