Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TINA-TI
As shown in my snap shot, we see the diode drop while it shouldn't. Can you confirm I'm not crazy, in case I'm not, can it be fix?

Germain,
Thanks for considering our device.
The symbol looks correct to me for a simplified Pch FET, though it does not include the gate ESD diode or body diode in the schematic you show. Our modelling expert is back in on Monday and we will be able to answer you then.
Thanks
Hi,
Just want to clarify, the symbol is correct. It is the connection between the symbol and the model that is incorrect. Because if Vgs=0, Vds shall be high impedance right? And we see a diode voltage?
BTW, I've been able to use the part by inverting drain and source into the simulation.
Germain
Germain,
Thanks for the clarification, our expert in this area is back on Monday and will respond.
Hi Germain,
I checked and it does appear that the TINA-TI model is incorrect. TI has updated all of our PSpice FET models to unencrypted versions. I used the unencrypted PSpice model to create a TINA-TI Macro (under the Tools menu) and it works correctly. The attached zip file contains the macro that I created. Please try this one and let me know if it does not work correctly.
