BQ34110: BQ34110 sample program

Hi Friends,

I have used BQ34110 for BMS with a Lead Acid Battery (12V, 18000mAh) in my application.

I am looking for the sample firmware or any methodology/sequence of code lines to start with Lead Acid Battery of 12V, 18000 mAh.

Can anyone address where I've to start with?

Hello Chinmay,

There's no sample code, but it's good to start by implementing the i2c driver.

There should be plenty of examples online for how to do that with your MCU.

I used it as a starting point. I ended by fully writing my driver in C but at least it was not from scratch.

These fuel gauges are complex to access to newcomers. It is a pitty TI does not provide a framework as it does for their microcontrollers.
