The data sheet has a formula to calculate the maximum switch frequency due to the frequency shift protection feature. The formula needs fdiv (frequency division factor) and Voutsc (output voltage during short) and Ioutsc (output current during short)
fdiv is either 1, 2, 4, or 8, so I'm not sure which one to plug into this formula. Doesn't it depend on the operating conditions of the circuit?
Voutsc should be zero by definition right?
Ioutsc would just be whatever previous current was flowing through the inductor when the short happens I think. But what number goes into this formula?
