TPS25927: Control the enable pin "EN" with a microcontroller

Hello Team,

This is an implementation of a normal eFuse circuit.

I would like to know if it is possible connect EN/UVLO to GND with a R=1Mohm and then be able to control the enable pin "EN" with a microcontroller.

What considerations should I take into account when designing to control the enable pin "EN" with a microcontroller?

Hi Esteban,

For some reason the image that you have attached has not uploaded properly. Can you upload the image in PNG format using the attachment sign again.

Regarding your question, I don't see any issue in pulling the EN pin to GND using a 1 Mohm and driving the EN signal with a micro controller. Just that the Microcontroller should be able to drive enough current in the 1 Mohm to rise the voltage to required level. This shouldn't be a big concern.

If you don't see anything weird about implementing it this way, I'll do it like this.

Hi Esteban,

Yes, I don't see any issue in driving the EN pin in this method either.
