BQ24125: battery detection function.

Hi Sir,

may we know how many condition for batterydetection? BQ24125 built in battery detection, so there will be detect wave after removing the battery, right?

is there any other way to determine and turn off the internal MOSFET to stop charge?

    Hi Tommy,

    Pls refer to the datasheet page 17, the detection happens on power up or the VBAT drops below refresh threshold. Your understanding is correct that there will be detection action after the battery is removed. We can’t think other easy way for the detection. You might want to consider mechanical detection.
