BQ21040: Alternate part with low battery indication pin

Hi TI Team,

The BQ21040DBVT has a charging status LED.

Along with that functionality, I need low battery indication pin functionality also.

Does Texas Instruments support any IC with both these functionality as I could not get any one.

Hi Shwetha,

We do not have any device with such functionality. We do have the bq25155 which has a built in ADC, this allows battery voltage to be measured easily.

TI also has a many different fuel gauge IC to choose from:

Another option is BQ25120A, this has a built in Voltage Based Battery Monitor, see d/s 9.3.4
