RE: LMG3410R070: Question about the spice model

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMG1020

Thank you Yichi, this sounds good.

I have one more question regarding LMG1020 and LMG1025. Are these two the same? What are the pros and cons?

We are currently using LMG1025 plus a GaN transistor from EPC. We know there would be some issue about soldering reliability of LMG1020 but we may want to immigrate to LMG1020 if worth it.

I was wondering if you could provide some information to help us to make the right decision.

Thank you,

Ehsan

  • Hello Ehsan,

    Thanks for reaching out.

LMG1025 is typically for automotive applications with 1.25ns minimum pulse width with slightly better prop delay but bigger size that might make soldering easier while LMG1020 is more for industrial applications and can fit smaller board area with better lower minimum pulse width capability.

The devices are similar in terms of gate drive voltage and peak current ratings therefore suitable for similar loads and FETs.
