BQ25713: BQ25713 Battery charger current issue

I have project use the BQ25713 to charger 3S battery.

I set the REG0x03/02() to 0x1000H (4096 mA), but charge current can't up to the 4096mA.

I read the battery gas gauge IC current register is show the charger current only 2592mA.

How to set the charger current up to 4096mA ?

Hi Rob,

What is your measured battery voltage? If the charger senses that the battery voltage is close to charge regulation voltage, it will change charging algorithm from Constant Current to Constant Voltage. In CC the charge current is regulated to the value set in your charge current register, but in CV the output voltage is regulated to the value set in the charge voltage register, and charge current will not be regulated and will taper down till it should hit its termination point.

Hi Kedar

I use multimeter make sure the battery voltage 11.41V.

and i have make sure the charger voltage is the 12.04V not on the CV mode.
