Hi Ti Team,

I am using the I2C-Controlled charger IC and have two issues with the part:

1. As soon as I connect VIN of 4.5V, this voltage is present at PMID. 

Is it possible to stop that while I am charging the battery?

2. When one fully-charged Cell is connected between BAT and GND, there is NO voltage at PMID.

Why is that?

    Hello,

    1) Battery is charged from PMID rail so it's not possible to disable PMID and still charge the battery.

    2) When you plug in battery only, the device will go into shipmode. You'll have to hold down /MR for 125ms to exit shipmode after battery plugin.
