TPS54232: Power management forum

Dear Sir,

One of our customer using TI's TPS54232 for main power. Input 12V, output 3.8V @ 2A. The following picture shows our customer design. 

I have used WEBENCH tool to do design. There are shows some different setting. Could you help to check the customer's design?

    Hi,

    1. R33 and R34 is used to configure start up voltage, it depends on which voltage customer needed;

    2. C63 is used to confirgure soft start time, 10nF or 8.2nF could be fine.

    3. R45/C49/C50 are used to compensate the AC response. Both parameters could work. The difference may casue different transient performance. Suggest to refer to Webench.

    4. L3 determines the current ripple and loop performance. 10uH should be also fine. Suggest to refet to Webench reference.
