BQ24192: BQ24192 EVK I2C detection issue.

Hi TI Team,

We have used a BQ24192 charger EVK for charging the battery. I have connected BQ24192EVK with STM32 using the I2C interface for reading and writing the register.

When I try to read the register I haven't got any data in STM32.

For I2C validation in STM32:

I have connected the BQ27426 EVK(Fuel gauge) with STM32 using the same I2C interface. And I can write and read data successfully.

For BQ24192 EVK validation:

I have connected BQ24192 EVK with TI MSP430 MCU but I have received NACK everytime.

Please help me to resolve the issue.

Hi,

Are you able to do I2C communication with the BQ24192 EVM using USB-to-GPIO communication kit (HPA172-USB Interface Adaptor) as described on the User's guide?

We are able to do I2C communication when we use USB to GPIO communication kit.

Hi,

It does not look like BQ24192 issue then. Please double-check STM32 side for I2C communication.
