Hi,

I want BQ25703A to disable supply from battery when I am shutting down my processor.

Is there a way to use I2C to control Batdrv output? If yes, what are the registers to use?

Hi John,

You can put the converter into HIz mode (either pull pin 6 ILIM_HIZ to ground, or set REG0x35[7] to 1) and then while in HIz mode, turn off the BATFET (REG34[1] to 1).

Hi Kedar,

I prefer to disable the BATT using hardware.

Is it OK to connect to ILIM_HIZ to GPIO as shown below? Output of GPIO configure to 0V to disable BATT.
