TPS65916 device integrates an embedded power controller (EPC). Customer is looking for safety measures for EPC processing unit faults. Please help with the safety measures for processing faults of PMIC.

Shinu,

TPS65916 is not a functional safety device. This device has interrupts available that can be read for items like voltage errors, current limit, short circuit detection, thermal warnings, etc. There is also a POWERGOOD pin to indicate under voltage events of the SMPS rails.
