TPS92691: What's the major differences between TPS92691 & TPS92691 ?

Hi,

Can you help to advise as what's the major differences between these 2 parts TPS92691 & TPS92692? As from the datasheet I can see that the TPS92691 has lesser pins compared to TPS92692 and TPS92691 can provides higher typical output current.

Can you help to advise is there other than 2 of these?

    Hello,

    TPS92692 is similar to TPS92691 but with more features.  It has more fault monitoring, spread spectrum modulation, internal voltage to PWM dimming, and integrated P-channel FET driver for high side PWM'ing.

    I would recommend using the TPS92692 since it's also a newer part.  Please see datasheet for details explanation of the above differences.
