BQ76952: Unable to connect BQ76952 with PC

Hi TI Experts,

We have designed 10S BMS based on BQ76952 as attached. We are trying to establish communication with the BQStudio via I2C to USB convertor using ISL94203INTFACEKIT1Z. But we couldn’t. Kindly let us know the what could have gone wrong here.

Hi Prasad,

I do not see anything obvious wrong in the schematic. However, you do need an EV2400 to communicate between BQStudio and the device. I do not think an I2C to USB converter will work. Once you have the EV2400, I recommend updating it to the latest firmware version (this is the version used on the BQ76952 EVM). Instructions for updating the firmware are on the EV2400 product page.(If you have an EVM, there is already an EV2400 circuit on the board - you could connect to this circuit instead of buying an EV2400 module).
