BQ40Z50-R2: Estimated capacity jumps and Ra table has large values

Part Number: BQ40Z50-R2

Hello,

We have been using BQ40Z50-R2 integrated in our battery pack. Battery supplier forgot to do learning cycle to latest batch and we agree to do it afterwards ourselves.

We did learning cycle battery pack connected to our end system, but it seems that we don't manage to do it properly. Symptom is that estimated full capacity suddenly jumps low value at the and of charging cycle. After learning cycle full capacity values is ~1550mAh but typically after first discharge and charge cycle it changes to ~1100mAh. We looked Ra values and noticed that Cellx Ra values and especially Ra 14 values are very high compared earlier battery batch values. Typically Ra 14 is ~800 but now we see values over 8000 for example. Example .csv from failing battery attached:

SS310FG09901720.gg.csv

We did learning cycle when battery was connected to end system, which also consumed some varying current from the battery. Charge current was 1C (1.6A) and discharge current was from 1.6A to 1.9A. Should the learning cycle be conducted "clean" environment where charge and discharge currents can be stable all the time?

Charge/discharge profile:

Would it make sense to take Ra table values from old batch battery and write to new misbehaving batteries?
