EMB1499Q: emb1499Q can be charged, but not discharged

Measurements with an oscilloscope when discharge，PWM_CLAMP have waveform，but GATE_LS is not

Did you design this board custom based off our reference EM1402 design using EMB1428? We would want to compare with reference design to check any issues as these parts are intended to work in tandem mostly with bq76pl455a device.

 Not used EMB1428，We control EMB1499 with a MCU，and compare with reference EM1402 has been completed.

Why does charge work fine, but discharge doesn't? And when discharged, the Secondary Side（cells） is already consuming energy，but Primary Side is work exception，PWM_CLAMP have waveform，but GATE_LS is not.

Hi Jun,

As I mentioned the intention is to interface with EM1428 as in the reference design. It would be difficult to determine the cause of this if the MCU code is not driven correctly or interfaced with the 1428 device. That way we can reference our example code to ensure there are no accidental mistakes in the software. Have you looked at this reference software to determine the code sequence for discharge?
