Using EV2300 instead of new USB-GPIO adaptor

Hi all

I recently received the BQ78PL114EVM.

it has the new adaptor's socket.

will I be able to connect only the pins of GND, SMBus Clock and SMBus Data to EV2300 instead of purchasing the new adaptor.

I want to operate it through the BQwizard.

    well....I checked it myself.

     

    it doesn't work,

    the BQwizards needs to comunicate with the USB-GPIO adaptor.

    the BQeasy software does recognize the EV2300 and the EVM but not completely.

    I haven't try it but I think it should work wuth BQeasy and BQ20z80 framework.

     

    can anyone approve that?
