TPS92518: TPS92518 Eval kit software unable to run on Windows 10

I cannot get eval software for the TPS92518 going on a Windows 10 machine, the problem is TI eval software finds no serial ports. When I look in Device Manager I see the TI eval board listed (twice) under "Other Devices" and it says in Device Status:

The drivers for this device are not installed (Code 28)

There are no compatible drivers for this device.

To find a driver for this device click Update Driver

I did click on Update Driver but no luck...

I apologize for the delay. Someone from the team will respond to you soon. Meanwhile, can you please ensure you have taken the additional steps required for Windows 10? These are in section 5.1.1 of the user guide.

I followed along with intent - it doesn't work quite the way shown in 5.1.1 - and now that I've disabled enforcement of driver recognition and re-installed it's working (wow, what a hot mess), so thanks much!!!
