hi Team,

for the "TPS54327", is there reference formula that can help customer to calculate the components Lout(L1) and Cout(C8 and C9)

is there an excel calculation tool or other references?

    Hi ,

    You can get a quick reference design by WEBENCH.

    For the formula to calculate the L/Cout, you can refer the Equation 19/22/23 in TPS54335A datasheet.

    Hi, John 

    No, there is no calculator. 

    For inductor selection, we usually set inductor Iripple to ~30% of 3A. 

    For Cout selection, since compensation Zero is fixed internally, once inductor is fixed, and the LC double poles' position must be in proper location, which means Cout will be fixed. 

    In short, suggest following L and C value in table2.
